چکیده

A 56 day feeding trial was conducted to examine the effects of different levels dietary histamine on growth performance, immune response, and intestinal health grouper ( Epinephelus coioides ). Seven isonitrogenous (46%), isolipidic (10%) diets were prepared with supplement 0 (T0), 0.05% (T1), 0.1% (T2), 0.15% (T3), 0.2% (T4), 0.25% (T5), 0.3% (T6), respectively. The results showed that supplementation had no significant weight gain rate (WGR), specific (SGR), feed conversion (FCR), hepatosomatic index (HSI), survival (SR) at initial period (day 0–28), but WGR SGR negative linear responses level whole 0–56), a decrease observed in groups T5 T6 compared T0 P < 0.05). Supplementation decreased antioxidant capacity, contents serum interleukin-1 beta (IL-1?), intestinal-type fatty acid-binding protein (FABP2) trefoil factor (ITF), caused serious damage intestine significantly VH MFH grouper, especially fish fed supplemented high doses (0.25 0.3%). microbial communities treatments clearly control terms (?)-diversity boxplots UPGMA phylogenetic tree based unweighted unifrac distance. Chronic effects of suspended solids on gill structure, osmoregulation, growth, and triiodothyronine in juvenile green grouper Epinephelus coioides

Despite suspended solids being an important water-quality parameter in the regulatory process, very little is known about the risks of prolonged exposure to high concentrations of suspended solids in fish, especially marine species. In this study, the green grouper Epinephelus coioides, an important mariculture species with a wide geographic distribution, was exposed to various concentrations (...

Ultra Structure of Excretory Organ (Kidney) in Juvenile Grouper, Epinephelus coioides

In order to study of kidney tubules, twenty specimen of 45 days old juvenile grouper (Epinephelus coioides) were prepared after proper biometry. Five mm thick sections were removed from the middle and posterior end of the kidney and fixed in Bouin and glutaraldehyde. The routine procedures of preparation of tissues were followed for light and transmission electron microscopic study. In macrosco...

This research was carried out to identify the different layers and cells of orange spotted grouper brain for further toxicological experiments and defects brought by xenobiotics during exposure periods. The anatomy and histology of the brain of orange spotted grouper was illustrated and compared to mammals and other fishes. The preserved structures of teleosts brain species were different as com...

Polymorphisms of Leptin-b Gene Associated with Growth Traits in Orange-Spotted Grouper (Epinephelus coioides)

In mammals, leptin has been demonstrated to perform important roles in many physiological activities and to influence development, growth, metabolism and reproduction. However, in fish, its function is still unclear. Duplicate leptin genes, leptin-a and leptin-b, have been identified in the orange-spotted grouper. In the present study, the polymorphisms in the leptin-b gene of the orange-spotte...
